Last year we enjoyed our stay in a regular oceanfront room. The bathroom was beautiful with fluffy towels, nice toiletries, and if you're a fan, an overhead rain shower along with a handheld showerhead. There was also a weird bench table under the window that covered the heating unit but we used it as a desk and eating table. We also had a nice gas fireplace, a small "L" shaped couch, 2 lounging chairs (with stains that need to be removed), and a couple of tables. The Native American decor was nice and the beds were comfy with a lightweight comforter. We were pleasantly surprised by the room layout with the nice balcony and Adirondack chairs and loved the little screened window that opened, a rarity in hotels. This time we booked a junior suite as we wanted a balcony and after having a few issues with a reservation agent (he might have been new), we were able to book a 2 queen bed suite at the casino card rate.Īs usual, the front desk staff was super and accommodating (Shandy? was especially great) and when I called later, I received more gracious service. I did mention issues with maintenance although I gave them a pass as it was during their busy season.
